Thanks for a Great Site:) Does anybody use of have any knowledge of this Site and Engine? If You Click on 4Stroke Engine Install it takes You to You Tube Video and Info, I am sure I am only one that hasn't seen it by now)

Trying to find the Bike Frame that the HS engine will fit and seems to be hard to come by, Walmart Bikes dont seem to have the room between the frames anymore, need 7.5 across for engine mount, then 10in tall is engine height. What Bikes will this fit and where to find them?

I have a MB I built with GX35 Honda with the GEBE Kit, it's a 30mph after started with pedalling. Lots of Neat Fun, but got a feeling the "BELT" aint gonna hold up as on 2nd one and just over 500 miles!

Will the Chain Drive HS motor be an Upgrade?

Thanks for any info and have a Great Day:)

The HS 49cc 4stroke engine is well known. I'm not sure that I have seen that type of gearbox before.

Will the HS with the gearbox fit into this frame?

Thanks for Replies:) I understand Old Bob, it is like the 2 strokes everyone selling isn't it, claiming they are 60-80cc and Not Correct according to other bikers but everyone buying
them:) Maybe Dealers just Gotta believe it because that's what China tells em:) Sad but True?

Any bike with a similar geometry to a Schwinn cruiser should fit the HS just fine. Heck, I got mine to fit on my frame and it's smaller than that!

You can get a lot of life out of a belt if you take care of it - don't overtighten it, don't let it sit in the sun, and keep it "dressed".
Belt dressing you can get at an auto parts store or dielectric grease will help keep a belt from drying out and cracking.

As for that gearbox, a major drawback of those gearboxes is that they have no chain tensioner mechanism inside them.
The chains end up getting loose and breaking, or they might munch a sprocket. Only a few have had success in the long-term with chaindrive transmissions.

Thanks The_Aleman for Your Insite:) I will check out the Schwinn Cruiser) I will get some Belt Dressing and apply to the GEBE belt.

Thanks for the gearbox info...Who makes a Kit that is Similar to the 4Stroke HS or Honda with Good Transmission?

Gearbox

The gearbox shown is the so-called "Hoot" gearbox....the biggest piece of junk ever made........do not buy this gearbox,,,the HS engine is great, been using one for 4 yrs.....

So dougsr.874, how do You have Your HS motor hooked to Bike? What Gearbox , Tranny, Belt or Friction do You use?

Also , again has Anyone had Real Life Experience with the http://www.enginesonlineshop.com/4-...ycle-Engine-Kit-DUAL-CHAIN-GEARBOX-v2012.html

Understand the Thots folks have of the Gearbox, But need to know from anyone that has Used it ?

Is there a Gearbox that allows U to Adjust the Chain for Tightness?

Understand also the 4-5hp on HS may not be correct, but everyone seems to buy the 2stroke they say is 60-88cc which evidently not correct @ all, Yet China must make American Dealers continue to say it incorrectly and Folks continue to Buy them)

Thanks for Help:)

Your choices are kind of limited for good transmissions. All there is for the HS/GXH50/Dax Titan 49s is the 4G and the EZM Q-matic.
The 4Gs with one-way bearing pulleys have problems, the Q-matic is rather expensive and has somewhat poor off-the-line performance.
The Q-matic has the edge in reliability and parts availability, the 4G has the edge in performance. At the moment, no reputable dealer has a 4G kit in stock.

The best gearbox around is the Stage 3 gearbox from Bicycle-engines.com......Just DO NOT use the engager with the engine running....also they stay out of stock more than in...also dont put oil in the gearbox....use heavy grease
