Calif Air Resources Board (CARB) "no bicycle engines allowed"

CARB officials are all unelected environmental whack jobs. Just so you know. How they can make any laws or tell others what to do seems to go against the constitution of the US and probably California but then again I am not super knowledgeable on the laws so maybe others can weigh in.

Never seems fair darwin...the bad people always winning out in Cali.

It's because of the San Francisco bay area people, most of the rest of the state are mostly reasonable people

Big question is they want green transportation, but you get an ebike or even a small gbike and they have authorities here threatening you. Sort of a false image for a state that pushes green while threatening the very people that would make use of it. Why not ride 10,000 watt bikes to and from work on batts or a small gas engine setup? Just never makes sense except for being a totalitarian system.

I'm not real up to par on the CARB stuff either, but it doesn't seem the bikes are outlawed, just the shipping of 2 cycle engines from a dealer to California. NO ONE has ever said I can't ride my 2 stroke on the street. So if you already have a 2 stroke nobody's gonna stop you from putting it on yer bike. Also, No one is stopping a private party from picking up the engines elsewhere and bringing them to California. There's a guy on craigslist thats been doing just that for a long time now.
CARB can't stop it all, and I think it was all just a ploy by the CARB officials to make themselves look good anyway. You didn't see them going after the HUGE GAS GUZZLING TRUCKS AND SUV's, of course not, cause it's just a sham to make it look like they're doing something instead of NOTHING, as usual. The BIG THREE auto makers ain't gonna let them go after the REAL gas hogs and polluters, so they went after an easier target, The poor little 2 stroke engines.
GOOD JOB C.A.R.B. You solved ALL the pollution problems in the state.

Thats right Tyler, everyones a *&%#& except where you live. Texans say California is full of deer's & steer's (or somethin like that.) California people think if you're from New York there HAS to be something wrong with you, ect, ect. I have lived in the Bay Area for a while now, Kansas before that. There are IDIOTS anywhere you go, Even in Santa Barbara.
