How often do you clean your exhaust port?

I sound like your using to much oil, but ha if it's simple to fix and it runs great with the mixture you are using then as the old saying goes if it ant broke don't fix it.
I would clean it every once in a wile and live it alone.

Ya thats i was thinking ya know having to take 5mins outta my time once or twice a year isnt that big of a deal. I think i can handle it..lol..im just glad that that was the problem cause my kit has a ton of miles and i thought it was on its way out..but once i cleaned it out it ran like new.so im think im good to go! thanks for the feed back.. i was just curious if anyone else has had that problem..im sure it has to do with running my oil to rich..i think im gonna run the recommened mixture and see what happens..

omg fabian i have one minor problem and you think i should just toss my kit aside and get a chain drive..get over your self! all kits have problems some worse than others!

Whomever bought that engine and installed it on their bike needs to be fired!

Every once in awhile the screen in the muffler needs cleaning the carbon off. Applies to 4 strokes/2 stroke jap motors.

Whomever bought that engine and installed it on their bike needs to be fired!

It took thousands of miles to get that way and it took me 10min to fix it and the bike runs like new..sounds pretty minor to me..like i said get over your self fabian..your type of kit has many more problems than that..the 2 years it took you get your bike reliable i was riding mine everyday to work..same engine..no problems..so keep that in mind..

I hadnt cleaned it in a while and i think the carbon just built up in the port cause it had no where to go..im just glad it never stopped running and now it runs like new. Since i cleaned it out..not that big of deal..just had to realize what was going on.
