Motorized bicycle engine kits should come with this style of chain tensioner as standard equipment.

In saying the SickBikeparts shift kit should also come with left hand side and right hand side chain tensioners as standard equipment.

It is obvious that you found something that seems to work and are quick to sing its praises. You've have started what? 4 or 5 threads on the topic of chain tensioner and now you have it right? Please, when your chain stretches out, go back to one of your threads and you will find the answer.

Thanks johncy7....... I'm not meaning to "brag" or ramble on about this thing like it's the greatest in the world because it's not...it has bugs. Nothing is perfect. I haven't had any issues with tensioners in the past. I just like to "change" from time to time. I've never liked the idea of not using a tensioner at all...then again I haven't personally tried it so there isn't much standing ground there. I like the idea of having a little bit of play...but not too much play. AND actually...this isn't the chinese chain that came with the kit..I bought 10 feet of roller chain from my local fleet farm and it's MUCH higher quality..not to say that it wont stretch....but it's not a chinese rubber band...

I'm sorry for assuming you had the chinese rubberband chain LOL
you have chosen your roller chain wisely my son :)

Lol, thanks! If I wanted a Chinese chain...I'd just go out and buy a heavy duty rubberband ;)...I see no difference. :p
