The price breakdown is to show what a consumer would pay to purchase the parts one by one to build that bike. What Pirate is saying is, for this price, you get the bike already assembled and it's cheaper than doing it yourself. Though if you put it together, you save $200. So it's not really cheaper to buy it pre-assembled, unless you have no intention of assembling anything yourself.
