Thanks for the welcome everybody.
The chrome bike was a fun ride. It was a 26" cruiser frame with 24" wheels and had a real low center of gravity. It rode like more like a BMX bike than a beach cruiser.
It was geared real low and I built the motor to really wind out. Top speed was only 32 mph, but, it got there REAL quick!
The motor on that one was one of the early 49cc "Pico WingDing" that Don Grube brought over from China. I did a full port and polish job on it, shaved the head (probably too much) and opened up the exhaust.
It ran great up until it went off like a grenade!! Those old motors had very week bearings....
After replacing the motor with a later 70cc "square head" I broke the frame stays, while playing "Evel Kenievel stunt cycle"
Sadly, that bike is no more. But, I do have the 70cc motor, the black Whizzer tank and the wheels hanging around in my garage....

I never thought about selling it (really can't now, it's gone). I built that bike on a very slim budget.
However, I did agonize over every little detail through-out the entire build.

The seat that was on it is actually a cut down banana seat. I cut the front 4 or so inches off of it so that it would wrap around the top bars of the frame. The rear of it was supported by little struts connected to the top frame stays. I also had to cut the top of the seat post lug off of the frame to get it that low.
It was surprisingly comfortable.
Here's a side view that shows the seat setup a little better.....

Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of this motor in the bike.
I still have this motor and plan on some day using it. I've had this idea to make a copy of the first bike, but, using a 20" stingray frame. Maybe I'll finally get around to doing it soon.
I kind of lost interest in the china motors when I got my Whizzer, but, it might be fun to start playing with them again.

The engine is decent, it makes mild power, not a beast but it's reliable. I can do about 32 if I push her and she does ok on moderate hills. I actually geared her to redline at 32ish, so she is right on the money with that. About 5k with the governor removed. I didn't build her to be a race bike or anything. Built this bike about a year ago from the bare frame up. Had a little help from my good buddy jbcruisin, but did the majority of the work myself. The forks are Suzuki K10's. I got them on ebay for a steal, paid $39 plus shipping. I had to modify the cap clamps, because they were made for 3/4 bars. I used a dremel. Later on, the top cap clamp broke, probably from over tightening too much. I ordered two-piece atv top cap clamps on ebay and had to file them down to fit, but have not had any problems since. I've also equipped it with a moped headlight powered by a 60 led bulb and a brake light with an 18 led bulb. The lights are powered by a 12v, 1.2Ah SLA battery, and I have an old school 12v bottle generator wired to a scooter regulator to keep the battery charged. The generator works ok, but when the headlight runs it doesn't keep the battery fully charged. I don't do a lot of night riding and I don't run the headlight during the day, so it's not a big deal. Maybe some day I will figure out how to get it working better. Not everything I have done with the bike is completely 100 per cent necessary, but I figured if I'm going to go full custom, I may as well do as much as I can to it. It's worked out well for me, and I've learned so much from this build. To me, this isn't a motor-assisted bicycle, it's a motorcycle. The motor actually does do most of the work. I rarely pedal. Anyway I'm rambling. Thanks very much for the compliments.
