Chain wont line up

Im having trouble with this Fixie Thruster..the chain just wont line up ..the chainstay is not totally round so the tensioner is having trouble staying tight in the position i need it.

Any ideas how to line it up?

looks like you should be able to ditch the tensioner

no offense but you're having a new problem every day. get some more experience before you sell anything to anyone again
 
turn the tensioner so the long part is inside (reverse roller to do this) - for skinny stays, I cut an inch or so of old handlebar & split it into 2 "c" sections to pack under the tensioner - if heavy tightening is needed, replace the 2 4.8 bolts with 2 10.9 bolts & nuts
 
no..the chain link was on correct..the sprocket was a maniac sprocket ..was nothing i did wrong. I have been reading online and busting chains is pretty common. Most people upgrade the chain. These bikes are nightmares

not so oh masterlinkbreath!

been fixing hundreds of bikes for years now & in all that time, the only chain that broke was one on a bike that had a bent tooth on the drive sprocket that I didn't see at first - every other bike has never broken or thrown a chain
