i have a 26'' 7 speed schwinn wal-mart bought beach cruiser and my wheel got bent in an accident and now i dunno what wheels to replace them with
does it matter if i got mountain bike rim to replace em for now or do i have to order specific rims for it ty in advance for the help

if you have a wheel with axle & freewheel that fits your frame, you can use it OK - your old cruiser tire may be too wide to fit it tho

round ones. its always advisable to get round ones, though triangles are an improvement on square ones, they eliminate one bump.

anything that suits it from a donor bike... alloy rims preferably.

then once you are mobile again, all that matters is that you get a new rim of the right diameter and width...i assume this thing has wide rims? oh. and number of spoke holes. thats very important!

also learn the art of lacing and truing a wheel, a bikeshop will charge you more than the bike was worth...

yes round ones are the way to go i just got some old 26in 10 speed moutain bike wheel from a friend slaped it on and it needed a lil kick but it fit and worked

Ideally you want to get a set of wheels that use double wall rims. They are a lot stronger than the basic wheels sets that come on low end bicycles.
