I am ready to buy a 66cc silver engine and I see that the Bike Berry and Gas Bike companies sell "look alike" engines for the same price, $149. Bike Berry's engine is called Flying Horse Silver Angle Fire. And Gas Bike's is called Jet, Silver Slant. What I like about the Jet from Gas Bike, is that they say, it comes with a high performance carb. That might be the tipping point as I think that would be valuable.

Other than that, I am wondering if they are virtually the exact same quality engine?? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe bikeberry has PK-80s with the old Z-L rods and gasbike has gt5 engines. gt5 engines are better balanced and generally run better.

"half breed" type engines with the zae-50 connecting rods (black/silver jet from pistonbikes.com) are the best of the bunch, they have the best crankcase compression and crankshaft balance. they're not very fast in stock form but are so well balanced that you can make them go very quickly for not much money.

I actually tried to buy the JET from GasBike this week.... But, they don't answer their phone (all day for two days I tried) I was on hold for 10-15 minutes, the went to voice mail, but they wouldn't respond to their messages I left...... or an e-mail??? It mus be nice, not to need the business. Anyway, I'm set with an engine.... I went with the Angel Fire....
