I got a great Dyno frame that I love the looks of :helmet:.
My question is , After all said and done I'm probably lookin at $1000 for this build For Me .
4 stroke , Jackshaft , custom tank , Frame powder coat , etc ...
Should I just get a Whizzer ?
I'm looking to have something Reliable Un-Like my 2 stroke .
I don't want to be 75% WORKING ON IT , 10% CURSING AT IT AND 15% RIDING IT .
And I want it quite .
What do you guys think ?
I'll still have the 2 stroke to play with work on get ****ed and yell at  .
Really all Opinions Welcome .
Thanks

Depending on where you live, you should be able to find a willing buyer if you build it and then change your mind to still get a Whizzer. So it may not be either or, but perhaps both.

I'm not comfortable with selling something like these bikes > I know a lot of you guys do, It's just not
what I want to do .But I appreciate your input .I live at the beach so Flat and slow riding .

Dynos are not my favorite bike, so my first thought would be to get a whizzer. However, with the right forks and paint job, a dyno isn't completely terrible and you have the added benefit of being able to mix and match so many part. Don't really get that with a whizzer, you can change certain things but a whizzer is a kit, certain parts work with it and certain parts don't.

Hey , Well lets say we use a bike You like .....something not "completely terrible" maybe one of those Pink Barbie Bikes . The question is .If you make it just how You like it , is it better to have something like that or a Whizzer that might hold it's value have all the lights you need and maybe be more reliable ?
Thanks man .

You said all opinions are welcome. My opinion is, I don't like dynos a whole lot. But I will always say custom is better. It is possible to build a custom bike that is also safe and reliable, and build your own lighting system. I'm working on a fully custom bike right now, 1956 roadmaster frame, Suzuki hydraulic forks (which look great on a dyno BTW), built my own wheels and I'm designing my own lighting system, 79cc predator engine. Got about a grand in it. I don't know how you jumped from dynos to pink barbie bikes, but good luck with either one.

You really didn't have to take it so personal that I don't like dynos. You could say roadmasters are ugly as sin, I wouldn't care, that's your opinion. There are a few other bikes I don't like also. And its not as if you personally designed and built the dyno, so take it easy. They're just ugly to me. Can't help it.

There are people with well over 10k miles on predator engines, so reliability is not an issue. As far as holding its value, that really depends more on how you build it and how you take care of it. A very well built bike will hold its value over time. Sure a whizzer comes with lights, but it ain't that hard to build your own. I can even link you to a YouTube video that shows you how to build a circuit that turns any led bulb or strip into a dual intensity light. This circuit works for front and rear lights. Battery and charging system is fairly simple. Tire dynamo, scooter rectifier and small 12v battery, some wire terminals, I actually made a Facebook post on my lighting system in two different motorbike groups.

So are you building that bike for you ? I guess Im havin a hard time with this because I like the building of a bike but I don't want to have to Fix it constantly . I don't mind servicing it and taking care of it but having to fix it is just a pain you know?
