4 Stroke Dyno GT Or Whizzer ?

Yeah, I'm building this bike for me. Like you, I don't build bikes to sell. I definitely don't expect to have to constantly fix this bike. All I expect to have to do is put gas in the tank, air in the tires and change the oil.

You know I see a lot of guys using that motor . Now I built my chopper and worked for Harley for 6 years but
I don't know if I could just get the motor and come up with everything else I need like mounting and drive and all that .
How the hell do you do it ? I was looking at the Bicycle-engins.com kit that I hear a lot of people use but I dig the idea of the Predator
motor cuz there is a Harbor freight right down the rd . So if I blow it up I just get a new one .

Well, there is a website, www.affordable go karts.com, they sell quite a few parts for the predator. The mounting depends whether you want to mount the engine horizontal or vertical. I chose to mount vertically. Agk sells a mount which is intended to mount horizontally. I have this mount. I modified it to work vertically by grinding it on one side so my pedal sprocket could clear it and I also had to drill extra holes in it to be able to mount it to the seat tube. I am using chain tensioner clamps to hold it to the seat tube, and two stroke engine mount blocks to space it away from the seat tube so the engine sits more in the middle of the triangle. Agk also sells a transmission that is a simple chain drive jackshaft for gear reduction, and they offer different size input sprockets so you can customize your gear ratio to your liking but it comes stock with a 22t sprocket so you have to tell them if you want 24, 26 or 28 instead. I'm running a 28t, this lowers the ratio for better takeoff and climbing. As far as carbs you have a few different options. The two stroke NT carb will fit if you get a 40mm shorty intake, you can also use a reworked stock carb but you will need to buy or fabricate a throttle linkage for it. You can also use a 19mm carb, which I am using and I think is best because it has a bigger throat than the NT or the reworked stock carb, and you don't need a linkage for it because the throttle slide is internal, in fact it's almost exactly the same as the NT throttle slide, the slide is just a little longer. You will need a manifold if you use a 19mm carb, agk sells those also, as well as complete exhausts and build your own headers. You will need a clutch too, maxtorque are the cheapest that are half decent, you see why I've got a grand in my bike lol .

Hey ,
So I think I figured it out . Not to get philosophical on you but ..... To do all that ,I think this has to be a passion .You must have a passion for this since your not doin it for the cash . I have a passion with 2 things , My leather work and my Harley . I did all that and more to the Harley and still doin it . Bin workin on it for 20 years LOL and still go out to the garage just to look and touch it every day , but the motorized bike is a hobby just for fun . I just cant bring my self to do that much work to it . Now , when I ride it im smiling like a idiot doin 30 mph ,Like bein on the Harley doin 130 mph . So I think it's another kit build 4 stroke with a few customizations on it . wam bam thanks man , but its a kit for me(OR A WHIZZER haha ) .I think I'm leaning towards the Ugly Dyno Build though ! ha. Got respect for you guys and didn't relies how much work can and does go into these thing .
