Where can I buy just the battery alone? I checked my local Ace that sold the motor kits and they do have single parts, just not this one. Any help would be great!

You need to replace the spark plug wire, they screw onto the cdi box. get a good one, MSD, Accel, etc. You'll need to put a new plug in, most automotive wires require the screw on tip. I recommend NGK B6HS.

I was able to adjust your pic to see what is wrong - your spark plug cap is broken

it unscrews from the wire & a new one can be screwed right on easily

Ah! Thank you. Here's what it looks like with the plug cap off. There doesn't seem to be any screw threads or anything though. Can I just go to my local automotive shop and either get a whole new cdi, or will they have something that will attach to this?

Nevermind! Just ordered a whole new one on Amazon for 10 bucks. Thanks for the help! I just needed to know what it was called lol

The black box isn't a battery, its a cdi which stands for capacitor discharge ignition. Inside are a series of capacitors, resistors and jumpers. The capacitors charge and discharge very rapidly, unlike a battery which discharges relatively slowly compared to a capacitor which can charge and discharge something like 100 times per second. Big difference.
