Help! Bolt sizes!

hi all,
I have been looking and looking and I can't find the sizes for all the bolts on the motor i.e. Crankcase clutch cover mounting hardware etc.
I'm looking for the length and size of it to get a high tensile set before my new motor gets here. Had a 49cc getting a 66cc.
The 49cc will become a fixer project as I snapped off pretty much all of the bolts trying to take it off the bike and remove the exhaust, air intake etc.
I want to change them all to high tensile Allen head bolts if possible even the head bolts/studs.
All I could find was this kit from bikeberry that's going to cost like $60 Aud to get

http://www.bikeberry.com/bbr-tuning-complete-20-piece-heavy-duty-engine-kit-stud-set.html

Any help would be appreciated!
I always go to ACE Hardware and determine the size and pitch on the sizing device. They sell good quality bolts with a variety of head choices. Very reasonable

Thanks William for the info and I have thread gauges in my thread tapping tool kit but the problem I was having is I sheared the bolts off in my current 49cc engine case and wanted to order some high tensile Allen head bolts before my new 66cc one gets here.

You might consider Helicoiling the holles after drilling them out and using the U.S. bolt style of your choice. I had a 53 Sunbeam 500 that had to have the block and head planed. I Helicoiled and inserted connecting rod studs and Sched. 8 nuts. With a hand-cut 1/16"copper a
nnealed dead soft, NEVER had any leakage.

That sounds like a good idea but I already stuffed the holes trying to use an easy out. The 49cc is gonna become a project motor when I have time to make a fix for it. I might just tap and the holes bigger and use bigger bolts for the new 66cc from the get go but I still want to change out the other bolts for Allen heads.

I go to this place called a hardware store, they have all I need.Ace is the place!!!! Menard's is good but the typically lack the varied thread sizes such as the fine thread for sprocket cover. I wouldn't go the route of helicoil, that is my last resort for stripped bolt holes.

*wonders what part of australia as theyre banned in NSW...*

dont waste your time on the 66, the extra capacity is more than nullified by bad porting, etc etc... bigger isnt better.

all the case bolts are M6, standard old 1mm pitch.

66 has M8x1.25 studs on the cylinder.

only odd ball thread on the things was usually the magneto nut, being M8x1 in most cases.

cant say i ever had issues with stock bolts on the 48's...

as for the only 66 i got by accident.... complete lemon from the word go. waste of time and money. it was very cheap though. maybe if you invest a few more dollars than i did ;)

but, if you think its the best option, and want to get motorised bikes banned nationwide... go for it :D

I'm in Perth W.A. There's no bore/stroke ban just a limit of wattage for classification as a pedal assist push bike or a moped requiring a standard drivers licence. (still not needing the actual push bike to be licenced) I heard the 66cc has slightly better grunt up hill but I guess I'll see. I've got a 36t sprocket and was having to pedal up hill a little bit but I was still trying to tune the RT carb by rejetting smaller when I snapped the mount. So I'll just wait for the new motor and mount to get here and sort it out then. I'm off to Bali this weekend for my 30th so I'm not going to do much for the next week or two.
Thanks for the clarification HeadSmess

yeah, they relaxed the rules here about 10 years ago or so, taking it from 30cc max to unlimited capacity, keeping the ridiculous 200 watt limit.

then some damn fool kid couldnt help it but bought one against his parents wishes, chose to ride it without a helmet, chose to do the runner and ride across a busy intersection when the police attempted to stop him, and there we have it...banned. forever. no internal combustion engines anymore. somehow banning things because of one kid being stupid is a sensible option. forget about the rest of us who were sensible...most of the time :D

oh, and the owners of luxury cars were getting a bit fed up with these cheap things overtaking them down congested, stand-still toll-roads without having to pay a cent...

this isnt the same country it was thirty forty years ago, when people seemed to have brains and common-sense and practical skills... i missed the boat, unfortunately.

go back to the 44T, the speed just aint worth it. this country is going down the drain. save your money and emigrate to bali...or somewhere else more reasonable. once you see some "developing country" residents get together and ride something assembled from one third of a car, one half of a motorbike, and the rest just sheer necessity... you will see what i mean.

Yeah I know what you mean. And we call W.A. The nanny state!
The 36T wasn't really for top speed (much ;))
More for going a decent pace and not having to rev so hard. My bike is a single speed so no jack shift kit for me on this one.
Maybe the next one though.
