I am beginning to favor the idea of higher voltage. 24v lipo packs are not much cheaper than 36v lipo, and they are harder to find. Most of the cost of the lipo battery packs must be in the assembly of the cells, rather than the cells alone.

Stu - How much do the Walmart Lithium booster batteries weigh?
I could not find a weight or shipping weight on the website.
I looked for them at my local Wallyworld but it looks like those batteries are internet only.

Walmart saids the shipping weight is 9lbs. That's damn good. If there is a Walmart near you just buy it from Walmart and select "Ship to Local Store". You won't have to pay shipping cost

My guess is less than half the 9 lb shipping weight. Remember the 2 year money back warranty at $3 each!

I'm in Boynton Beach, FL and Walmart sent them to me.
Call them and ask.
