KCvale
In memory of KCvale 1959 - 2019
Not heard of Cyclops, got a link?Has anyone ran the cyclops tires? They are 2.4in wide and are a nock off maxxis hookworm basically same tread but only 15$ a tire
I liked them on this full suspension dirt racer...
...just not as much as the 3" Kenda Flame tires I have been using lately.
The rims are 24", but the tire is 26".
Picture a clown's long balloon for a tube ;-}
If you look close you can see the tread channels are cut to look like flames, hence their name hehe.
It's a lot of rubber to the road, the ideal amount for most street riders under a number of weather conditions in my opinion.
I have built fatter tire bikes too, they are just too fat and out of everything I find 3" to be ideal.
And yes, those tires and tubes take a lot out of the road, and with a front shock you can take a small speed bump at 25mph and barley feel it.
Just an FYI of what I am using these days when I can, and why, hope it helps.
