Hey folks.
Im having trouble with the tension on my clutch lever. It seems to be super tight. I have to pull really hard just to operate the clutch. What should I do to fix this problem?
Thanks.

first, if you put the thin spring on the inner of the cable near the arm, take it off as it is not used for newer motors

second, if you tied down the cable with zip-ties, take them off

The cable comes dry too, or at least mine did. Cables should be well greased with lithium grease, the white light grease you get for bicycles. The un-cable-tie tip is more surprising to me and I can't think why it works unless the kit cable outer is soft enough to actually get crushed onto the cable. Good to know though. I'll just replace with new from the local bike shop.

I don't think it will do much but I have seen clutch arms that are shorter and the owners say it's harder to pull all mine have got long ones. eny one?

there are short, medium, and long levers - long ones are easiest to pull, but often have the locking button set at too short a distance to allow good clutch grab when released (only fix is to file the housing to give more room between the locked and unlocked position)
