New engine kit?

True but the engine also puts out double the power so in the end its probly the same as a standard china girl
All i know is it has its own 12v power source
I ride gopeds and alot of them have electric systems similar to this new engine and they were just as fast as a stock motorized bicycle but 100x more reliable
So im sold on the idea cant wait to get my hands on a few

I do not take much stock in claimed HP. I rather have the motor with out a electric starter and the extra HP. Heck if I can kick start a 113 CI with 11 to 1 compression I do not see why any one would have a problem starting these little motors. Back in the 60s Cushman went to a bigger motor with more HP and a electric stater. They would not go as fast as the smaller older kick motors as they added way too much weight and the extra power got eat up in weight. But as I said each to their own. Going from 49cc to 66 is not going to make that much difference. I just hope they will make a 4 cycle that is 66cc with out the electric starter.

I agree but it looks like the only motor with kickstart are denardis or w.e there called theres videos online of those on bicycles those things ripp went i get the chance in going to build one

My Kawasaki 450 is kickstart and I can kick it over no problem and I only weigh about 130 so I can't imagine needing the electric start or even a pull start for the matter

Yes the 4 cycles are not like the two where you can pedal start them. One of the things I like about my 2 cycle motor bikes is I pedal to start not start like a lawn mower or lawn equipment. All my RC 1/5 sale motors the head is made on to the cylinder. It has some good points and in other ways not so good of an idea. Many airplane engines are made this way.

See no need for a electric starter just more weight and something else to go wrong. If the starter goes out how will you crank it? With a centrifugal clutch you sure are not going to put it off. LOL I will let others try it before I would consider buying it.

I feel the combined head/cylinder is a big plus u never have to worry about head gaskets or warping heads causing unnecessary leaks and headaches one less problem

That's what I was thinking too the lack of interchangeable parts is what's threw me off as well of the fact that there is more stuff to deal with and diagnosing a problem with an electric start is a pain

That is the only good part about it but when you have to buy a cylinder the price and makes it harder to do porting and performance work. You all so cannot just pull the head to look inside you have to break the ring seal to see. Makes really hard to increase competition an I do not have a problem with blown head gasket or leaking head gaskets since I went to a copper head gasket and that is on my 2 cycle motors.

I have worked on a few airplane cylinders with heads made on and let me tell you sure makes working on the head and valve more of a real pain!
