Twin brake cable Lever, with Thumb throttle

My big chooper like 3 meters long has dual brake and it's crap it doesn't self adjust un even wear but I think if you can pull back or front brakes when you like is better. skids. And front brakes are grate but not when you are turning even when they are on soft hit something wet wheel locks up your down . As for dropping bikes all the time snaps the break more the clutch lever straight off.I don't like them.

The way I see it, anything more than a rotary and lever on each side of the handlebars is all you got.
If you have a 2-stroke you have a clutch lever for the left, another lever for a brake is way to cumbersome in my opinion.

ut if we use the conventional cycle brakes , then the rear brake's rubbers are consumed more than the front wheels brakes , so using twin brakes Lever will require frequent need of brake tension adjustment. (I PRESUME) . And if they re not adjusted then front wheel brakes will have more effect once applied as compared to rear causing front tyre skidding specially when brakes applied while taking a turn.
??

I have been using them for years, ~40 builds, never had a problem with a dual pull working well, or causing skids, etc.
Note my .gif example, it adjusts itself.

You only have 2 hands. When you come to a stop you need 3.
Also, every time you come to a stop you use all 3 levers, good luck doing that that with 2 hands.

this is why I like front disc rear coaster. yeah a coaster isn't as modulable as a disc but I can lock my back tire up just fine. and if my coaster fails (I've gone thousands of miles with no failure, but I know what they can do if not maintained properly) I still have a disc up front that's perfectly adjusted and can bring me to a stop faster than most cars.

the reason I don't use dual pulls is because you don't always want to use your front brake

I use the back brake and clutch at the same time same hand 1 to 2 fingers on clutch ezy then the righthand if necessary front brake you don't need to be an octopus lol each to their own

i have always found thumb throttles to be painful after half an hour or so of riding... its also really easy to let off when riding the bumpy stuff. big engine with compression braking and you can sometimes have a nasty experience when the bike suddenly stops!

often used a stubby brake lever for the throttle on my MBs as the supplied twist grips just fall apart... also gets painful but not as bad as thumb throttles...

only thing i like doing with my thumbs (other than twiddling them:p) is the gear shifts...

raises a point... it can get cluttered with clutch, brake, gear and other assorted levers... some bars just dont have the room to take an extra lever!

What I find fatiguing is the stock plastic grips on bare hands and simply refuse to use them!
Most every bike I have built sports BMX foam grips.
Shock absorbers for your hands ;-}

So true.
The first thing to go should be the front shifter if you have one.
The whole thing. Shiftier, cable, and derailleur, everything.

You have an engine now, put the chain on the chain ring you want and use the back wheel gears.
One useless control gone from the handlebars.

Haha twiddling ...good one !!

Well so we were here being octopus-like with 3 levers(two for brakes) 1 clutch , and u added 4th for throttle (that too with thumb twiddles:p)
