I am no mechanic if I had the money I would pay one! It all started with stuffing steel wool in my muffler then snapping a head bolt! Got new head cylinder head bolts are twice as skinny as the others and now I got stripped thread holes! Took me two days finally got piston in didn't have needle nose pliers and the damn clip fell in crankshaft I can see it but any ideas on getting it out?

a small piece cut from rubber-like refrigerator magnet tied to a piece of coat hanger wire - bend wire as needed to reach under/around things

Or a cycle computer's spoke magnet for a bit more strength.
They make little flashlights with a ring of LEDs and the magnet extends from the centre on a telescopic rod like a car aerial with a bendy tip for exactly these situations. :)

YOU ALWAYS STICK A CLEAN RAG IN THE CYLINDER OPENING WHEN INSTALLING WRIST PIN CLIPS. Saves a lot of headaches.
