Starting problems !!!!

so i got me a cruiser bike kit off of amazon probably 2 months ago i have had a good amount of problems with it off and on but nothing with the engine it self untill today i took my bike out on a ride probably 4 or 5 miles it was running fine got home no problems parked it in the garage and went about my business for about 2 hours probably so i decided that i wanted to go another ride i hopped on my bike started pedaling and let the clutch out but nothing the motor feels like it has like half the compression and i cant get it to fire and it does not really sound like its turning over i checked for spark thats good there is still resistance when pushing the bike with the clutch out just doesnt seem like it had the same amount of resistance and its getting fuel aswell i took the head off i dont see any metal shavings or grooves or cracks in the cylinder walls so im kind of lost now also this motor is really new probably only 2 and a half tanks of fuel ran through it and i fallowed the break in instructions correctly if anyone could give me theyre feed back i would appreciate that very much and i hope my engine is not blown and could be fixed
 
See any oily blackish brown stuff under the head? Almost sounds like a head gasket leak, if you can get it started without death by asphyxiation, it will run really low on power. Notice it running a little less good on the way home before parking it?

If not there then possibly crank seals, however you could pull them out without feeling that loss of compression, since most compression felt is in the head. Still, check under the mag cover and clutch for oily stuff.

It's funny how often heads leak, relies on both the gasket to be in good shape (yeah you opened the head, chances are if it's a stock gasket it won't sit right for now on) and that you torque the head down correctly. And maintain that torque.


Give it a nice check for a leak, maybe just try tightening the headbolts to 15 foot pounds a piece. Then give it another try
 
an immediate change like that is either a bad seal at the head/cylinder juncture or bad stator coil or bad screw contact at the stator coil frame (which is an important ground path)

Oh Yea, how does your kill switch actually kill the engine? If it's through the white wire it could be damaged by shorting the mag. I'd bet it's not the screws but that's me. Head seal seems too likely, nice hot running engine keeps running, sits and cools and whammo, next to impossible to start.
 
good observation. the kill switch causes a short circuit which increases the electrical current which for a compromised coil can be too much and cause one of those fine wires to burn itself open.
I didn't use that method. I ran the white wire up to a switch taped to the steering stem which could connect or disconnect the circuit, instead of shorting it out. The switch basically interrupted the white wires path to the CDI.

Off topic but how many versions of aag have you seen? My engine right now has 3, black white and blue, however the blue and white are soldered to the SAME point, which would indicate it's not a separate coil like many say. I've also seen some with just 2 wires, and one with one (cdi apparently gets grounded to the frame, not sure)

I've yet to see the white wire being a separate connection from the blue.
 
if spark is good, you should first be looking at clutch slipping or gaskets leaking
 
sorry I meant the active blue wire. white is used for a lighting system.

Why does my mag have both wires on the same solder joint? Do you think that, if there are separate coils in mine, this could be a problem or perhaps beneficial? What would be the result if a normal 3 wire mag would be resoldered to combine the 2 coils' current together?
 
I doubt the bike would run if the two coils were connected together. That would drastically reduce the output voltage of the blue wire coil.
