I put a new 80cc motor on my bike yesterday and it will not start. It has spark and getting fuel to the carb. It has compression and everything is hooked up right. I've double check everything and check all the connection between the motor and the CD I and maggneddle. I went down a steep hill at a high rate of speed and still will not start. What do I need to do or check?

Are you getting air into the carb? Some castings on parts will block air flow..... You could also check idle speed by screwing in the screw on the side of the carb..... If those don't work, take off intake and make sure your intake gasket has a hole in it. Some don't have holes for some reason lol

first check is to see if plug is wet with fuel, it not, try putting a few drops thru plug hole and try it - if it fires a bit, then check for fuel problems

I had the same problem starting my engine for the first time; I knew it was getting fuel and spark but still no ignition. I tried starting with the exhaust off and it finally started. The problem was to much back compression or too high compression overall was preventing the spark plug from firing.
