Hey all, i'm looking to update my rear single speed tire to a fat tire to maybe 26"x3" but am unsure if it would fit and where to actually get them. I can only find front tires or you have to build your own from scratch which in all honesty seems to cost a fortune from the sites I have found.

Looking for any help on both questions thanks a ton!

all you got to do is throw a rim on and seeif you have 3" of room the tire will be about 2.something inflated

A sunlite cyloclops is 2.5? I'm pretty sure

It is the cheaper equivalent to the maxxis hookworms which are also a fat tire

With these tires you can put them on a 26x1.95-26x2.125 rim.... (Don't quote me on the exact sizes, going off memory and mine isn't much lol)

26x2.4 but a step in the right direction and something ill keep my eye on. Looks like a good find!

That Is the largest size tire you can fit on your rim if it's a beach cruiser style wheel
(Other than the over priced Maxxis hookworm)

Plus it's only like 15$ a tire and should fit in stock forks (should:))

Looks like we have a winner then! Will it need a new tube or should it be good with a 2.125 tube?

Let me know how it does, might be a good candidate for my predator build:)
Well I don't know how you feel about Walmart but...

Huffy makes a 26x3in bike, called the fortress. I've seen a few of them being sold at the local wally world, and I know of a man who did in fact put a 2 stroke motor in it with very nice results, I can't say if it has the room for a pred but it might, and everything is already there for you to work with.

100 bucks and Walmart price matches their online prices, go to the counter with the bike and website or app in hand and there you go, 30 bucks off

Steel frame as well

I already have a bike to start with..... Old jc Higgins frame

Already have the disc brake on the front, double wall rim with very heavy hub

The back is probably going to be a single speed double wall rim with discs as well

I cut the seat post for a 'lay-back' style..... I cut it where I did so I would have more room for the engine as well.

Here's a pic of my perty 212cc racing motor..... Should be around 9hp with upgrades it has
