Indeed I do.
With a little pulley or gear on the KCK 10G Long Shaft a little generator could be added to the shaft by the seat post.

12V Sealed Lead Acid batteries are cheap and only weigh about a pound.

This is over a year old thread but you are right, generating power from these little engines will suck motion power.
No power is free.

I think a low enough draw rate to charge a battery might work well depending on how much electric power you need to use, and how often you need it.

You'll feel the loss of power to your wheel, but the trick is how much?

I have not tried this yet... but once I get caught up on demand for my 4-stroke shifter orders I do plan to re-visit this.
I use the slightly larger 53cc HS 144F-1G 4-stroke engines, and with gears they play with 40mph, I'll bet I can come up with something for electric power and still kick any 'gasbike' 49cc direct drive bike kits butt in every way ;-}
