Friction Light Generator ...?

Well my dynamo works and gets better the Faster I go till you go to fast and it burns out .and that's pedaling. 60kmh on my moto push bike would kill it ?.Every time I have had a dynamo thay stop working when I go to fast .I have never seen one on a 66cc probably because thay can't take the speed thay are made for slow speeds like 20kmh when you hit 30kmh it burns out . maybe you got a good one .but thay can't beet a $10 2000lum led .

What is burning out? Dynamo coils, or bulbs? 30kmh is only 18 miles an hour, that's about my cruising speed on my race bike. I only get good light over 14mph so something must be really wrong with yours.

The dynamo Burns out I must admit that all the dynamos I have tried have been old off old fashioned bikes and start working at walking speed by full speed its stuffed maybe New ones have gotten better .or your lucky that it starts at 20 so 30 40 wouldn't hurt yours .can you put up a pic

When I find them thay work .but thay put a big load on very hard to pedal I didn't know I could lube them .that one you got looks cheapo but the lights look good just the front one you got looks like one I got that runs on 3 aaa battery's cost me $50 Australia. not very good at all fell apart from the vibration

A properly set up dynamo doesn't make it much harder to pedal. About the same as between a mountain bike and a normal bike. I reckon you've been using seized up ones and that's why they're burning out.

You call them Dynamos is that a brand name? I Just call them generators and they do defect on the cheap black ones the spin cap falls off you got to be sure to line it up just right horizontal to the wheel if diagnal it will burn off, found a magneto has white wire another option to the friction generator on the stock generator hs a 6 watt bulb went to an auto parts store found a 1156 is a 26 watt dont know the amperage of bulb or generator got figure out the ground clips because I took em off without shooting a picture the bulb is bigger wont fit through the porthole had to put it in the other side to get it to fit I'll be working on it today maybe tonight success I hope.

You're never ever getting a 26 watt bulb to run off a dynamo. Try a 2.4 watt bulb.
