A simple compression check would be to remove the sparkplug and spin the motor a couple times with your finger in the hole. You should feel the pressure.
Like the idea long as I don't loose my finger should I expect that it blast my finger off or how many pounds might find a mechanic?

give me ignition, warp factor drive scotty. Is that affirmative Mr Spock, and becareful with that lasar McCoy, its highly deadly

Just use your stubbiest finger that still fits, not your pinky :p. It shouldn't blow your finger across the room just push air around it lol. It's not a way to see how much compression you have unless you are a genius with sensitive fingers, just shows whether there is compression or not.

many auto parts stores will loan you a compression gauge free

Got spock-got gas-got crack! Don't believe it such a small defect shut down everything must be a very sensitive port for a ported GT 80 66cc and I know Gasbike.com doesn't want to warrantee its going be another long agnozing argument with that comppany I hate. Still early how much to replace compare to just buying another motor just be done with the heart ache.
By the way your comments are the most informative thanks you draw a clear picture in the chaos.

how is it defective? pic would help

there are many different port mappings and cylinder heights out there these days - mix & match is a real problem

Compression you mean like bad rings? I relace 1 that broke it expands more than the other factory been itching my head if I should replace both, will this cause a no fire?
bad rings can cause loss of compression. so can loose header bolts, blown head gasket, bad or loose sparkplug, etc.
