You want to go to the paint dept. of your local auto parts store and buy some "High Temp Engine Paint". It costs more than just regular spray paint but it's designed to harden as it gets hot and resit being burned off.

Yep, High Temp engine paint, I like Dupli-Color.
I usually just paint the head and side covers.
But you can paint the whole engine.
Either way I recommend you run an NGK 5944 (BPR7HIX) Iridium spark plug, that's all I run here in Phoenix and nothing gets too hot ;-}
