Is this the one with cent. clutch, or manual clutch with gears? The 65 cc with gears is very very fast. Better get a real strong rear wheel. A friend has one on a MB. He let me ride it and when the pipe comes on in 2nd gear the front wheel comes off the ground real sudden like. He says he has had it op to 71 mph with more left, and I don't doubt it a bit.
it has a cent clutch the ad says fully auto so no gears , but he does have the 110cc 4 speed engines too would need a real good bike to fit one of those to haha
Never run? As long as that's true that's as good as a deal as you can probably get.

I agree about parting out, though at that price I wouldn't even sweat it and would treat the frame and remaining parts as being as disposable as the box the motor would have shipped in if I bought that alone.

If the frame is small enough you could even hang onto it and build a bike for a kid or something
i would believe its true from looking at the exhaust port but also the guy has tons of new stuff he used to have a quad/bike shop years ago , gonna call to him on monday and nab it i think too much of a bargain to pass up.

I've ridden them too, wow, lotsa fun in a little package. Felt like a Shiner on steroids.
I am pretty sure the stock KTM (or clone) motorcycle will not do 70 mph, more like 40 mph but tops out on rpm.
Brand new engine? It is a steal if you have a use for it.

No immediate use for it but I'm sure I'll find one eventually haha ya I think top speed is about 65-70 km/h using the stock gearing anyway , but do you think it could be the used in a bicycle build?

Only a few thousand miles of ocean and land, no biggie.

Your right on the one with cent. clutch. 40 is about it. The 65cc ktm water pumper with gears is a different story.

Gary you got that right! there is a kid here my youngest boy has rode with a few times and his father asked me to set up his 65cc lc ktm that thing carried me and the front end thru 4 gears like nothing!

was thinking since its meant to be 9hp or so could change the sprocket for more top speed if required but i think 40 is enough for me .

Use the frame mounts from the dirt bike to fabricate mounts for your bike build. I think the engine becomes a part of the frame on these little bikes.
