Well now I have it out of the dirtbike it is very wide indeed , but might be able to figure something never say never and all that .

The carb came in a bag in about 20 pieces but was easy enough to put together (hopefully nothing missing) gonna try weld the exhaust tomorrow its pretty badly cracked but will try anyway.

Not sure if I need to remove the head , removed reeds and moved piston bdc fingered the barrel seems nice and smooth will wash it out and then flush water through the cooling system . Need to order a kickstart tho will have to search around.

If the crack is bad enough and you're feeling discouraged about welding because you think you might burn through or something else related to heat control then stuff an end hard packed with paper towel and fill the pipe with very dry sand, weld as needed and nothing should pour through and keeps the heat around the weld longer which should strengthen your work.

Oh and I suggest paper towels because on the occasions where I had to stuff it from the open end but put the stuffing where the baffle was, or just any type of awkward thing that could get stuck in the pipe from stuffing, including random loose pieces, I knew that I could grab a propane torch and clear the material from the outside or just toss it on a camp fire like we do when burning out old fiberglass baffling material.

The listing you posted says Universal fit, and indicates its hole is 1.3cm in diameter. Looking at that listing and others it appears its a bunch of tiny splines and all you're doing is slipping it on and tightening the bolt to clamp it in place.

As long as your kick start peg isnt much smaller than 13mm you should be fine, 12mm might be pushing it unless you wedge copper or soft steel sheeting in between the 2 for a snug and gap filled fit.

the shaft is 12.8mm but my concern is if the kickstart has say 25 or less splines and the shaft has 29 chances are it will shear the splines of the shaft , but i think it will work no major loss if it doesnt but would hate to wait for the thing to arrive and then have to order another.

Looks like 25 or 26 but they don't cover the entire circumference, looks like an additional 5 roughly could fit in the blank spot. How many splines on the nub of your motor?

Can't remember now think I counted 29 on the shaft but just went ahead and ordered it anyway should do the trick if not €6.14 is no great loss
