Depends on how you put it back together, for example did you use a torge wrench to put your head back on?
I do all 4 nuts at 5# at a time in an X pattern to 20# for example.

This is a good example how a 2-stroke works with and expansion chamber exhaust for the extra boost of power.

And this this a pretty good animation of how to assemble and disassemble a 2-stroke.

also, thats an interesting video, ive never had any luck getting my cylinders off without seperating the crank case a little first though.

for anyone that needs parts for the bullet train engine, this is all directly from zeda, this is how you can order them.

i got a quote from zeda about prices for the parts and shipping to new york and how to contact them to get these parts ordered. their a tad bit pricey but its at least an option. im sure they'll discount shipping if your ordering a bunch of stuff. its only six hundred and something to ship 200 engines.

When I built it the first time it was for reviewing on standard beach cruiser.
If that motor becomes reliable I have bigger plans for it ;-}

well i cant speak for the reliability of the engines parts in general, as it is chinese, but the electric starter and pull starter, though important, arent things that interfere with performance en-route. not to mention if you can put a hole in the crank case in a way that lets you stick a portable drill with a oneway bearing into the crankshaft of the engine then you can start it with a drill like the new grubee engine their selling on ebay. pretty bada$$ looking, zip it right up. plus we've already established that the electric starter module is probably the same as a pit bike one, so you might be able to find a more durable version of that online somewhere if the zeda one is really just a piece of garbage.

I was thinking about that one way bearing idea for a while actually, I wanted to make a pull start using the same housing and putting a 1way in it from some butchered centrifugal clutch and a rollerskate wheel.

Hehehe, ya, Don talked to me about that and made the GT5A-ES (electric start) engine...

Just get yourself a holster and carry a 20V impact wrench with you everywhere you ride!
Just think of the comfort and new style trend! hehehe ;-}
