I just order from BikeBerry a T 41 gear in hopes of getting a little more speed than the stock T 44 how much more speed should I anticipate my speed right now averages 20 MPH + or - 2 MPH?

I was trying to keep torque up I live in the Rockies I dread the hill inclines if I was in Kansas I'd get a

You can expect one mph per tooth so you'll go about 3 mph faster when you get to max rpm.

hard to tell, as motors can only pull so hard at any given rpm - I'd be curious though why you top out at 20mph - 2-strokes are usually good for 30 or more on flat ground

Thanks, I wish I knew that before I ordered I would of gotten a T 40 is just about right a T 38 would be ideal but I was afraid I'd lose down end torque for these steep hills.

hard to tell, as motors can only pull so hard at any given rpm - I'd be curious though why you top out at 20mph - 2-strokes are usually good for 30 or more on flat ground

I don't know either are these guys claiming 30 MPH using a speedometer or just guessing or using down hill timing?

usual motors get 30 - motors I sell with no mods and a 44T go at least 35mph ( after 40 or 50 mile run-in) with me at 150 pounds on them (measured by a following car) - as rider weight goes up, speed goes down (265 pound rider rarely gets quite to 30mph)

many ebay kits may be LOTS slower

I got a few MPH more after 200 mile break in I'm around 500 miles now, but I got same problem with this termed Flying Horse from BikeBerry oil is seeping out of the head as it did on a GT80 from Gasbikes so maybe another defective engine.

The one I had before that was a Amazon Shanghai engine that down hill it would slow me down even if I pedal max speed was 12 MPH had a start speed 25' to 50 feet motor was way over compress let the clutch out burn rubber yank the motor mounts out stretch and break the chain.
Chain broke other day totally hammered to death won't even try to mend with a new link suppose be in Thursday.

I want see if I can fix the GT 80 has an extra 2 HP for extra $150.00 but it had good uphill pull would drop make a long 7 percent 3 miles of it at 19 MPH with about 125 lbs luggage weight plus mine at 175 lbs So I'm thinking a bigger exhaust get air in gas out. Damn all I do is throw money and time into these machines.

I just ordered a new chain it was beat to Hell reason why I am posting is to let some guys know they have new stylish chains come in various colors white, black, green, yellow, red ... My chain is going to be purple I know gonna send some viewers into the deep end singing a song ...

Might look real good with black!
So some build a bike to sell guys might have an extra urge on customer!

oil at head is usually spark plug not seating or head gasket leaking - neither is a real problem to fix
