New to MB, Help picking an Engine Kit

So I recently bought a Mongoose R5726WM8. I was wanting to buy a kit to motorize it with but I'm not sure which one to buy or if the one gear shift/Gear Set-up it has will be a problem. It's on the back wheel which you usually replace the gears for anyways right? Basically I'm wanting advice on what kit(s) to look into and if that will be a problem, I've put pictures of the bike below along with model number. Sorry if my knowledge is limited, I'm new to all this.

Uhh... OK I'll swing, when you are asking about the gears and replacing them you do know that normally you don't swap anything, rather you put an additional gear on the wheel, on the left side (from the point of view if you're sitting on it.)

The gear and derailleur it has now (if it's a shifting bike) will not be in the way at all on a standard direct drive kit. If you can fit the motor in there (which it would appear there's enough room for a substantial sized motor) then you can motorize it.

Go for a grubee if you can afford it, this way you'll end up with minimal problems, which from the sound of it it's what you should want since you have minimal knowledge on these motors. Definitely check out the dealer reviews section of the sight, along with the basic start up stickies on the various sub-forums. Good luck and wear your damn helmet.

Thanks for the help, yeah this was made only a few hours into research. I had figured that out but i'm glad nothing else about the bike would come to be an issue.

That's a pretty tight center cavity...

.. but it's doable, you just need extra parts.

Your bike is similar to this Ralegh build I did.

I use Skyhawk engines, by far the least amount of problems ans you get a bigger gas tank ;-}

You will need to spin your engine head 180º so your spark plug faces forward.
When you torque your head back down you really want to use a torque wrench and tighten them in an X pattern 5# at a time for all 4 until you get to 20# for all of them.

Then you need to visit http://SickBikeParts.com for some special parts.

First is a new front mount.
Measure your front downtube and get appropriate size clamp to fit your bike and attach it to the engine like this.

Chances are you will need an offset Z intake pipe as well, gasbike has them.

Get a dual-pull brake lever while at SickBikeParts as well, you are adding a throttle and a clutch lever to the handlebars, something has got go.

You put the dual-pull brake lever and throttle on the Right.
The clutch and your rotary gear selector on the Left.
The pedal gears read upside down but work just fine.

One pull lever and one twist 'lever' per side is what you shoot for.
