Is there any problems going up hills with front wheel hub motor drive?

If most of the bicycle weight is in the rear, will the light front end have enough traction going up hills?

Making plans 4 Hybrid drive... juice front, gas back... No no timing issues!!! The extra torque will b great... Dutchman

Hub motors are really heavy, your front wheel will never be light again, forget pulling wheelies.
Low powered front hubs are OK. High powered front can be hairy and also need torque plates or they will spin out of the fork axle holders.

front wheel drive works well but makes the front end very heavy and kinda handles weird. rear wheel drive is usually a straight upgrade but can be a compromise in terms of gear selection. the perfect system would be a gas motor driving the rear and a front hub motor with a kers system, but that wouldn't be cheap.
