I need to take a flyby video, but I did a short walk around then a rev video. Here ya go.

Flyby and full technical break down videos coming soon.

Tech breakdown loading now. But here is a first person perspective of a test ride with a wheel I got from goodwill! New 30t SBP drive sprocket, SRAM 8 speed cassette and new chain. The derailleur vibrated out of adjustment at the end LOL. Loc-tite is your friend!

That's loud man. Well, it's a video made with a phone, and in a garage I suppose lol. :)
I always thought this is a cool bike.
Did you make the large sprocket on the freewheel? I have been looking at the pocket bike engines which also have no reduction and wondering what possibilities there might be. I'll have to find the 5:1 reduction that reverses the rotation if I go this route.
Thanks for posting. :)

Thanks Furry! No i didn't make the sprocket but I modified it for the 5 hole freewheel. Pocket bike engines aren't my cup o' tea but to each their own! They can make great power but the reliability is lacking imo. I have a hard time keeping the chain on! So be aware of that pesky issue.

A technical explanation as promised. I know that this motor will spin 15K! And I estimate 5.5/6 HP, with my gearing and top speed of 61.4!

72T huh? I'll have to see what's available here for a possible project with a pocket bike engine. Thanks for the informative video! :)

You asked for suggestions. KMC X9e EPT chain is about three times the price of most SRAM chains, but it is intended for high output mid drive electric bikes, so that could be the answer to your chain troubles. :)
Also you need to get plugs or preferably big fat metal bmx bar end caps to cover your handlebar ends.

The clamp on grips used to be capped then I put on mirrors. That vibrated so bad they weren't helpful really! Took them off, Time for new grips anyway. Cause they are a bit worn.
