I'm taking suggestions for a good (but <$200) mesh motorcycle jacket (with sleeves; not a vest). It's >110F in the long summer here so mesh is gonna be required.

Bonus points for being CE Approved.

More bonus points for not having large logos or wild colors.

Cheers!

None, False sense of security. As soon as you go down the padding will slip all over the place.
There's a reason race leathers are tight.

Get a BMX full face helmet. Light weight and will hopefully protect head/face if you go down at 30mph.
A regular bicycle helmet is also NG. It will split and or come off your head on first contact.

Check Revzilla for summer jackets. Read the reviews.

I mean he isnt going 160 mph... no idea about jackets or vest. im a squid on my motorized bike and motorcycle :(

Interestingly, revzilla has 100+ mesh jackets that have an average rating of 4 or 5 stars. Many customers on revzilla claim to have been protected in falls by mesh jackets.
What are you basing your claim on?

I ended up ordering this one:

It's a Joe Rocket UFO 2.0.

I wanted a jacket that was *not* covered in tacky logos, so it's amusing that I ended up with this one. But Joe Rocket is a well regarded brand, and this particular model is reviewed as being cool in the summer while still providing protection. It's usually $150-$200, but I found one for $68 so I couldn't resist.

I'll remove or paint over all those ridiculous logos though.
