Lucked Out on this One!

I'm allways looking at used bikes for sale just incase something good pops up.When I saw this listed I thought the owner must have just gave up for whatever reason and or is hard up for cash because when I started to add up the total cost in parts of what I received OMG! There is well over $1,600 worth of parts here and I paid $400 Canadain thats $310 U.S. For a tank frame with Girvin front suspention a Strumey Archer front drum hub laced with 12 gauge spokes in a really wide unknown rim,A Strumey Archer rear 2 speed hub agian laced with 12 gauge spokes in an aluminum rim along with a disk hub front aluminum rim.A hub adaptor with 40t,sprung chain tensioner,on a brand new Grubee Skyhawk with an R.S.E. head and a gt6 (GasBike) head speed carb and a cns carb, cnc intake, volosity stack,Lightning cdi and coil, along with gears cables and some odds and ends LOL.I also recived a triple tree suspension fork,a reg suspension fork and a twisted springer fork looks like it might only be for a 20" wheel though not sure yet.

It has regular rim brake post's but not disk tab's I have a strumey archer xfd for it though.
I don't think it's sitting low enough, as in shouldn't the part holding the wheel be pushed further down? When you first started mentioning it I thought initially your fork wasn't extended completely..

That video above explains exactly what I'm saying, under little load the fork should sit as low as it is in the video, if it isn't a stop is wrong or something in upside down. Or incorrectly assembled, might need more pretension in the suspension spring before putting it together.

We have had a long winter here and other than parts accumulation not much has got done lately,I have gone all through this bike and found lot's of thing's that could have been issues down the road. This is how it's looking at the moment,

But the low bar's aren't going to stay though it does look cool IMO.Had a chance to pull the engine apart now and balenced the crank and true it to within 1 thou, used live center's in the lathe and dial indicator then backed each weight flush (square) with chuck and double checked it for pic.

The cylinder is done ported for good low end power not a screamer, just finished the bottom end assembly today with stainless hardware EVERY WHERE lol bearings, seals, all fresh it need's the piston done and will be ready to be remounted.I dont think the commen cnc heads will fit in there it looks pretty tight but yet to be seen.

Looks good. Did you get the fork figured out? I've been looking for one since you started this thread but they are too damn expensive.

Yes I had the cams reversed but I figured it out,and yes they are kinda expensive atm but they really do look cool! TBH they are not the best choice for functionality but they are light the whole bike is just under 70lbs.

I've got this one all broke in now,Man that Bertha pipe is loud! For a stocker this thing moves out pretty good,I've still got it a bit fat(rich) but it's been really hot lately and I like when its just right with increased load and fat when you lift.Once it's cleaned out the r's just keep climbing and sounds tight!

You're older than I had expected you to be, and man you're killing me no helmet or stopping at stop signs arrgghh..
The camera is mounted on my helmet if you look at the shadows you can see I'm wearing it.I am bad for rolling stops when the situation allows, but again you can tell from the cam I looked and looked again, I slowed right down and clutched so it's not like I blindly powered through or anything.I will do better next time!
