Hey so I'm stuck with my banana pipe on my good bike how can I fix it's restrictive qualities?

My bike use to do 40 easy now that my stock pipe beater is occupying another bike I now have the banana back on my daily driver.

It dropped back to 26 mph is their a way to make it drive better or modify it so it's not so restrictive without being obnoxiously loud.

Well I have seen a very disgousting picture about them. Someone cut them in half and it just had pipes in it... You can maybe get rid of the pipes but not sure if it will do anything good. I ordered one, hope it won't be here in the 30 days and I can refund it... It's just cheap chinese junk

That was me! I cut one open to see why it didn't work the way it should and found that it was nothing more than a muffled pipe. You could remove the internal baffles and make use of the chamber but that means it would have to be all welded back together and have some header length added for it to work!

Yeah, it might have been you. I did see the screenshot. Eww.
I did this a few years back to show folks and warn away from it's use yet many still bought it. There is a different one out there now though that has no internal baffles and the little stinger comes out at an angle, the header is still too small in dia and length but it's an improvement on the original.

I ordered the one where the end pipe comes out at an angle that is pointed to the ground. Is the stock exhaust still better?

What about custom baffling or ripping them out and installing custom piping......

WA state says it has to have baffling and I'm about to reg in Cali to bypass WA codes.

That SBP tunable expansion chamber has worked betrer for me that the banana expansion chamber ever did for me, just me maybe.
