peanut gas tank leaking.

I need advise on best way to stop the leaking around mounts. Is there a product you can use to mount tank without using the built on way?
NO, you have to mount it with the tank bolts, but that was pretty clever fix bud ;-}

I didn't want anything covering the Cadillac top bar insignia so I mounted the stock tank on the bikes back rack.

I had a back 'beer keg' tank made for the other Caddy build I had.

It mounts with the seat bolts above the NuVinci internal shifting hub.
I hope that helps despite your clever fix.

It mounts with the seat bolts and looks pretty cool ;-}

I did this. Easily adaptable for a rack mount.

I remember seeing the NuVini hubs many years ago. seemed like they were costly.
I could convince myself that the original retail price would be just as worth it for that product, it easily met my expectations for the $200 I paid for it on eBay (new!) It's a very decent upgrade and having the ability to use a very strong single speed chain is such a plus, you eliminate so much trouble just by having a strong and straight driveline. Every motorcycle does exactly that, just keeps the shifting mechanism somewhere else. Kc is right for liking internal hub shifters, the drivetrain is naturally more resilient to wear and damage.
