Engine won't start, runs only on choke and almost fully lean

there are EIGHT screws holding cases together - three more are under the clutch

Hi Crassius, I just began to work below the clutch cover, and I just reached the nut holding down the disk with the clutch pads:
The nut is surrounded by a small amount of oil, with a very distinctive smell of gasoline.

As I proceed with the disassembly, I'll keep you updated, in chase I'll find something anomalous.
The sprocket removal tool is a total piece of junk and it stripped immediately

Check the crank seal
I will, as soon as I figure out how to get out the sprocket without the tool, the sprocket seems to have the threats stripped, the motor leaks evidently from the frontal side too, in the bottom section

fuel inside that cover can be from any gas leak in lines or carb - no big deal if you clean it off and it then stays dyr

the tool is fine-threaded and must be handled gently - clean threads on tool and part to be removed and very carefully screw it on (should get 3 or 4 turns easily before you need to use a wrench on it

I clean well, then turn it backwards a few times to be sure it isn't crooked - a 1.0M thread file will straighten it out if a fine screwdriver won't straighten threads.

The tool seems to be useless, the initial part of the threats are kinda stripped or badly casted and it won't get in properly, I risk to strip the threats of the sprocket as well with a defective tool; the chinese production does of everything for scratch until the last penny from the production costs..
Next time, Gasbike.com for ever!

The mechanic has find out which two bearings were half outside and they were leaking, and the crankcase gasket were broken in several points in front of the cylinder, a cylinder stud housing were cross threated, resulting in the unit to be useless: I threw 116 plus 34$ in the outhouse, I sent a 2 pages long complaint to the seller, I hope to get a refund for this.

The seals and gasket can be replaced, and the crossed threads can be helicoiled. So if you want to save it you can. Their are tutorials for all of this on youtube. I had a feeling it was the seals, The case gasket was a shot in the dark. Sounds like you got some work cut out for you. I hope you get the refund.

The seals and the gasket has been repaired, the front right stud is turning freely without tightening down, I'll try to bring the motor again to the mechanic and see what it can do, but I got the impression which this 2 stroke will end to cost me like a Predator 79cc...If I choose to get a new engine, is Gasbike.com a safe source? I heard voices which bikeberry.com hasn't a so good customer service

Gasbike/Kings are both trash service, worse than bikeberry. I wish SBP sold engines since their service is great.

You will eventually get your stuff, but it will take forever. I ordered two kits on August 17th and they are not due for delivery until 9/6 and both showed as in stock. I contacted them to inquire what the deal was and was told they shipped it all on the 23rd(7 days after ordering when it said ships within 2) and they gave me a bs tracking number that just said "label created" for a week. Tracking number finally updated and it clearly said that Fedex didn't get the package until yesterday 8/30 with a 9/6 delivery .

On a prior order Kings sent me a jacked up gas tank with rust inside and chipped paint, and when I emailed them pics they surprisingly responded within a day to wait 24-48hrs for tracking number once the damaged part has been approved for replacement...and that was 5 days ago so I'm not holding my breath.

Bicycle-engines.com is supposed to be great, with awesome prices, but they have been sold out for a while on the standard Zeda80 kits.

are you sure the stud is turning in the case rather than the acorn nut is turning on the stud - lots of folks have to replace those acorn nuts with open nuts to get the gasket to seal
