According to manual i need to install clutch leaver instead of my brake leaver on left side of handlebar WTF i am not tossing out my brakes just to have some clutch. I thought this engines were automatic?

I have ebay kit 49cc.

LOL automatic! They do sell a dual pull brake lever...........Curt

Just put the brake and the clutch on the same bar just cock the clutch below the brake lever Facepalm

You may need too loosen the brake lever clamp and skoot it closer too the middle and also a gear snifter if you have one to make everything fit then slide the clutch handlebar on and grip where you like it and tighten it down these bike can be automatic but your looking too spend a lot more for that luxury anyway the clutch works fine once you get it set up i find that its more fun

I never run this bike before i placed clutch leaver closer to stem, do i only use it when starting right, or it cannot idle with clutch engaged without turning the wheel?

Did you ever tried it? I am thinking rear brake has less travel than clutch needs so clutch won't open all the way.
I also thought to just connect clutch to a rear brake cable with some bracket however its same deal.

Or idea is to connect front and rear brake to same leaver? It also seems like could do more bad than good unless both brakes are adjusted perfectly equal.

The clutch when let out engages the wheel to the engine when you pull the clutch it disengages the wheel to the engine so it will idle once you get it started

The clutch is only used when starting the bike, stopping at a stop sign, or to idle the bike. if its your first time, once you get everything together when you pull in the clutch you should be able to freely push the bike around on foot and when you let go of it the back wheel will try to spin the motor over and thus start it but they can only be started when your on the bike and pedaling at a moderate speed then you let the clutch out and start the engine up and pull it back in if you want to stop moving while the motor is running

Both brakes on one lever, take a little adjustment to get them to pull even. Clutch on other side. Lot of guys like them and some don't. .............Curt

i used to run a single brake for a long time, it work "ok" but the stopping power was not there.
after i bought me a duel pull lever the bike stopped on a dime! and i wasent burning through brake pads anymore!
i personally would just spend the 12$ for the dual pull brake lever. its a very nice upgrade!
this is the one i bought, 2 months and still its like new!

They make dual brakes for multi-speed bikes if you have a front and a back brake. Go on Amazon and look for a dual brake lever. It's cheaper than eBay because we all knoo eBay likes to do is fk us. Like China. Guarenteed she's a swinger.
