YES IT WILL, DONT DO IT.
it will run but your engine will have no lubirication becuase its a 2 stroke, it will sieze and DESTROY YOUR ENGINE!!!
PLEASE DONT DO IT!!
if you have to, use some 10w-30 oil

Keep your gas fresh and you won't need any special additive for dealing with ethanol.

Yeah, if you're asking about running with no oil, yes it will run fine for a few minutes, and then die when all the oil that is currently on your bearings is washed out by the gasoline.

i thought he was about to run the engine with no oil, i just wanted to be sure.
ethinal shield makes a fuel stabilzer but its also makes 2 cycle oil .
if its the staiblizer it will run fine.
oil, say good bye to your engine

I see, I didn't recognize that "ethanol shield" was a brand/product line. "Ethanol Shield" might have clued me in...

this isnt the welding forum, some one said i should throw away my welder and buy a 1800$ one just to get good welds

I know some of you run like a 32:1 mix but since I use a 50:1 mix I was just curious if I would ruin my engine by running straight up gasoline. You know when you get a gallon of gas, the guy before you could have got that super premium unleaded... someone had said once that in the tube from the gas nozzle there could be like .7 of a gallon in there so I was just a little concerned because I have ran like a 70:1 mix when I was low on that product ethanol shield but won't any 2-stroke oil work? And if I do use a 10 to 30 w oil how much of that should I use per gallon of gas?

2 weeks ago I ran out of gas, the gas station didn't have 2stroke ran 2 miles at not much more than idle without it you could hear the difference after a mile and if I had went 2 more miles may have blown the engine.

also try sticking a knife in an electric outlet while standing in a pool of water you trump troll.
