I bought the Zeda 88 expansion chamber, will the kit muffler work as a silencer for it?

Would i use it "as is" internally, or modify from stock?

Or, would an aftermarket be a better choice?

Better choice?

I have the first one posted but haven't tried it yet. If it is too quiet the plan is to try the second one. First one was $20 and the second is about $10 on Amazon.

i'm going for the Brigs and Stratton Muffler because the weight and compactness

oh I bet a lot of ppl have that little universal muffler. I'm putting that one on my 4 stroke bcs it's standard for 8hp utility engines, threaded and cheapest part on the whole bike lol.

I've used this one and it's good but it's large and kind fits kind of awkwardly.

Honestly the best silencer for the Zelda 88 that I have is the one I made out of an Arizona can and fiberglass. It's quiet and weighs nothing. I also made the inner pipe out of straight radiator hose that I put a ton of holes in. Makes it so I can just slide the muffler on or easily take it off.

Kinda like this? Lol
Was too quiet for me.

Ya basically. Although I avoided using any sort of steel wool just to make sure no metal pieces could possibly get sucked back into the engine.

It's funny how home made mufflers seem to be quieter than purchased ones.
