Engine Trouble no start

I hear the piston going up and down that's all

try to pedal it for a little while, check to see if the plug is gapped properly (.25 should be enough)
just try to pedal it (mine takes a bit, but itll start) give it full throttle (like braping the throttle)
it should start, if not, start by changing the plug. then the cdi then the coil.
also check the gap bwteen the coil and the cdi, a bisness card is what i use to gap it.

a bad spark plug would make it not sputter

I once had a bad spark plug that let the engine run up to around 15mph then it would just quit for a whilke then restart
after a little wait and the same thing again.

The spark plug showed spark and all, and the ceramic part was not cracked that i could see.
So i took it to a small engine shop and they put it on a minibike and went for a ride,
came back and said the plug is bad, more than likely a bad center electrode cracked in the center some where.
I put a new plug in and down the road i went.

no I get no sputter at all

Did you visually confirm spark? I had a bike where I saw the spark plug firing, but when I went to start it, I don't think the spark was strong enough to fire under compression, turned out to be a bad cdi. But it's always better to make sure before slapping on new parts and hoping for a fix.
