Stinger Length?

Alright, so i have a few SBP expansion chambers laying around.

I cut out the 1/2" wide by 2 1/4" long stinger that was on the expansion chamber when i took the silencer can off.

Now, i am going to braze onto the expansion chamber a 5/8 wide tube.

Is there a length to go by or am i ok with my 3.5" long stinger?

I'll get some pics up tomorrow, had to many beers tonight o_O

Tacked it with the welder then brazed it sealed.
Ground scary edges down and sanded smooth.

Will this work? :oops:

ok, cruising at 34mph today with the modified SBP expansion chamber.
I gained another mph or two going up hills, which serves my purpose.

Now i can't wait to get the BGF sleeved cyl off and check it out but i know imma have 2 wait :sick:

I also think i may have to upjet to a #71 or 72 jet.

The whole sound is deeper now and the quick throttle response is a good factor too.
Please share your thoughts on this as i am curious what ya'll think.

I think i am done with mods for now.
Need to get to the 500 mile mark then check the BGF sleeved cyl. and all other internal parts.

As long as i can cruise at 30'ish, while being able to get to 35 if have to,
and take these monster hills at 25mph.(y)

Then i am thinking, :unsure: things are coming together and i should just ride and enjoy.

Never noticed you have a Puch head! Always wanted to try one but I have a Fred head. Love how the Puch head looks.

Well i got it from thatsdax.com i think he calls it the RT Head.
I had the 6cc Fred head on there but switched them out.

Man this larger diameter stinger seems to wake up the trottle response.
