Is your name Neil? Nah, wasn't talking to you. Also, having read many of your posts, I'm not inclined to believe much of what you say.

Save your HP parroting skills for someone who asks for an explanation.
LOL you old grouch :p. I'm paraphrasing what I've read in the smbr facebook group, pretty sure Neil will say roughly the same thing.

He isn't fully sure on exacly which mods will be allowed, this next race will be testing a very mildly modded 212 that will be ungoverned but will have other measures taken so its not hitting 7k+ rpm. The billet flywheel and conrod will be allowed for safety purposes. If it outperforms the rest of midrange then the rpm can be limited further or a restrictor plate used. Having read many of your posts you are a pretty abrasive old fart, but do have stuff to contribute sometimes ;).

I see the scatterbrain bovine fecal matter approach is endorsed by Neil himself. I should have known.
Wow Neil, you're classifying a HF212-powered bike as "midrange" now? SMH

*looks for the slower slow lane
Hey Caleb.
It's new and our first Spec class using a 212 with minimal mods and the rules are finalized.

Racers have to apply to get the rules by email.
PZ 19 carb and the only rule not quite finalized is the size of the opening in the Restrictor Plate.

These Spec class 212s will be restricted down to the level of a KTM 50cc.
Gilbert #79 has been our test case for this class.

The only difference allowed is that you can use any Centrifugal Clutch.
Exhaust is 1" OD same size as the exhaust valve with a Briggs cigar muffler.

All the 212 racers on the same motor mods is going to be fun.

Thanks for a proper reply, I'm not interested in hearing from some lackey parrot of yours I never heard of before. I don't do FB, either.

However, unless you plan on tearing down winner engines to make sure they aren't cheaters, or having an independent engine builder supplying "spec" engines, your rules are basically unenforceable. You know there's going to be an element that skirts the rules.

Thanks for clarifying Neil. I haven't kept up with the discussion on that thread since I don't intend on racing with a 212 (yet). The_Oldman: just met Neil last october for the first time, don't really care what fecal matter falls out of your mouth.

Any auto clutch allowed, so as speccy as it is the guy with the $300 clutch will beat the guy on a budget with the $30 MT clutch.

Might as well disregard the rules cuz it’s still a run what you brung deal.

Tony and Aleman, we already disregarded you because you
don't get a say in our rules or what we do at our races as neither
of you have ever raced or probably ever will.

Crazy Dan has an SMBR race number and Dan raced for the first time on Oct
at Apex and will be racing this year on his 50cc HS.

The new 212 Spec racers will decide their class rules and we have an anti-cheating
system in place but you don't get that info until you apply by email to be allowed to race a Spec 212.

Tony you quit the Facebook race groups again, and again and said you never
gonna race so why are you commenting here and on the other forum about a
race that you aren't going to race at?

Tony you should take up knitting as your sport as that's about your speed.
