Full suspension gas tank frame design concept.

I have been working on drawing a concept of what I would like to make reality in a perfect bike frame.
I went through around 30 different designs before i settled on this one. When drawing i set my goals to make the perfect sleek looking functional and buildable frame that had all the features missing in my last build. Features that are hard to come by in a motorized bicycle frame.
I wanted a gas tank built into a frame with rear suspension. It needed to be able to support a 7 speed rear derailleur, disc brakes, and a 3.5" or less wheel.
I also wanted the layback seat post built in and a built in bearing for the shift kit.
This is what I came up with.

I only quickly painted it to show how cool it could look.

I put this out in the world hoping that you can offer feedback. Hoping that no one will steal it and make millions while I still sit broke.

How are you guessing the size of the frame from the rough drawings? Not this guys problem at all if he sells the frame and someone else cuts it up to for a bigger engine. Polaris isn't liable for the trailboss frame i cut up and extended and put a 440 Arctic cat engine on for an extreme kart.

China girls can do 12hp built right? Maybe more?

Are you trolling?

No but I’m getting the idea that I’m arguing with a non-builder. Let’s see what you have built/are building frogface, you obviously seem to know something I don’t so tell me then how much does a Cg make? Have I been a little too generous with H.P.? I have never built a kit FYI

That swingarm though... it’s not a strong design is all I can say. Tubes are strongest in compression only.

Basically if you want to see some swingarm motorized bike innovations you need to head on over to endless sphere build threads forum. This exact design almost has been done and then not done the guy ended up going rigid. Where my build is right now is almost where he got before he made the change. My swingarm box tubes feel a lil skinny cuz I was gonna have the shock up high right under seat with its own stays, but realized I’d be missing on the travel; so now probably gonna brace up the swingarm with a tension truss rod underneath if it feels loose.

There was also a production swingarm that broke cause of the unsupported lower shock mount which was pretty much like the one above.

You might also want to look into the genesis v2100 and a “farfle” swingarm and see how to put a motor in that; custom frame

I don’t think you guys quite understand the urgency of frame size and safety if you plan on selling them. You may have never intended it but some idiot who puts too much power on it with some questionable mounts can tear it up. People will modify bottom tubes to fit motors so best to take control and make the frame big enough so they don’t have to cut it.

Im not looking to sell this as a mass production thing. I want to built it myself on my back porch with a $700 welding machine I used to make parts on my last build. Im just looking for me but if someone steals it and mass sells it ill be mad that's all Im saying. I have no problem with someone taking this and build their own based on my drawing. copyright attribution I think.

Don’t use a shift kit, ss 42mph get a good distance between cone and head torque pipe. For it to be popular gotta size it for all common sizes.

I was thinking of plasma cut weld on kits for cruiser frames.

All that said its all a learning process, and I don't actually understand what you're saying to me.

I just want to say, If i were going to sell this I would have copyrighted the images before uploading, and design, redesign and redesign again and again until i got it right. I would make super sure that no one would die because of something I did.

As for building it for myself I plan to do most of the redesign after its built and something breaks.

I just grabbed the one that i had on my wall from my old walmart bike and drew it. That will most likely be redesigned. I just go lazy and didnt feel like drawing in great detail.

The sketch is like a guide, one of a kind builds like this are often tweaked as you go. I feel you bro. No mass production or 212 cc predator engines were ever in the mix lol. It's like there were posts Tony was reading but i couldn't see.

Is that your build? I like it, it looks tough but electric.
