Micargis are cheaply made bikes....the fenders are very flimsy, spindly spokes, etc

It only has a rear coaster brake so you would need to add a front brake
What do you do for brakes if your bicycle chain comes off? Slide your feet on the ground? pray? carp your pants? :devilish:

26" Micargi 7 Speed Rover 7SP Men's would be a better choice for a Motorized bike

Why do these sellers keep blatently lying about "80" cc ?
and they have the nerve to claim

5-6 HP (horse power)
I think they need to be slapped with a false claims lawsuit as the 66 cc / "80"
is lucky to make 2 HP.
Even the Grubee 66 cc claims 2.85 HP which is over rated

Came across this beauty and instantly fell in love with her....

This bicycle with an all black 80cc kit would be killer!

Does anyone have any knowledge of these bikes, do they hold up well? Any thoughts on this taking an 80cc HT setup?
All the best,

hey Wavy, welcome back. I just came back after a 3 year break from the forum, myself.

There's more engines and parts for these things than ever. Remember when it was kinda hard to get a chinagirl? LOL

welcome back.. yup lol some of us have been messing around with these for more than 10 years.. I am a member since 2009. still riding? got a picture of bike?

wow its been a long time due to extreme life changes etc ! so good to see you all still rolling along !
it was back in the early days of the forum & the early chinese gas engine development & experiment days ! we developed ocean park wa. motoredbike testing facilitys where we did documented reviews of engine kits that the manufacturers would ship us with pics as problems would develop , this led to a lot of changes early on as we were the ones that termed the little china 2 strokes as happy time engine kits!
to be be honest they actual term among ourselfs was - crappy time - because we spent most of our time running the crap out of them for endurance testing the rest of the time was tear downs for reports on those bronze babbit bearing engines & various accouterment issues , its so good to see things come so far espercially with the ebikes , we held the very first motoredbike rally here in ocean park wa & ill look that up & post most more if that stuff is still here. whos the admin now ? any old timers around !

I probably count as a real oldtimer as I used to own a VeloSolex back in 1987.

BTW I'm friends with Augie, who now lives not more than 20 miles to my North. I've ridden my Honda and my friction drive up several times to visit with him. He's cantankerous, but he's a neat guy who's ridden major miles up to Alaska on a road tour, and has been through the early years of motorized bicycles. I consider him a major source of MB past knowledge and experience.

Despite all that, us plus 60 year olds get to curmudgeon on occasion, and Agie's got some pretty strong views on what and how Motorized Bicycles should be legally ridden. I respect his thought on this I'm not so sure I like the present WA and OR MB laws.

I was at a motorcycle rally in Skamokawa on the same week you had your Ocean Park rally. I wish I had known earlier about your camp out and ride, but it took until 2012 for the bicycle engine bug asserted itself.

I also started with a Velo solex years back . I built many a happy time and all sorts of junk over the years. Ive owned several bike bugs and ride one now. Low maintenance and last forever . Pushes well pulls my heavy bike ( worksman h d trike) and my fat butt 20 mph all day. Augidog helped me and encourage d me to stick with the bikes . Tween his and bammas adventures I got hooked. Over the years I've riden many thousands of miles mostly with an old bug motor pulling me along. I'm a disabled old dude and law enforcement has never been a problem. My trike is .8 hp and slow 20 mph and I have my handicapped parking tag on the handlebars. Go slow around others and show respect no problems.I joined this site in 2006 when there were less than 300 of us. Sure has grown. I'd be curious to know what number I was? I'm sure its low. Try 1897 Tom Crisfield Md.
