So I’m fairly new to motorized bikes and I’m building my first one. I already took part the clutch box and experimented with it and I realized the plate was too tight. So I loosened the flower nut and the clutch plate and reinstalled the camshaft and clutch lever when I realized I might have a problem. The lever spins all the way around without anything stopping it, shouldn’t there be something to stop it? Plus the clutch plate isn’t pushing out when i turn the lever. Am I missing a part or something?

I'm not too sure, but you might have lost or misplaced the bucking bar and ball when reinstalling?

There should be one ball and one bar that go in like this:
87080

I know that the bar is there but I didn’t even know there was a ball I’ll have to check tomorrow when I work on it
I think if the ball isn't there the spacing is too far, and the camshaft or whatever you called it just pushes the bucking bar into nothing.

Yes that’s exactly what’s happening I’m definitely missing the ball
