Well the pipe should be in tomorrow and the forks next week. Lol im dying to get it together and see how it works. I was hitting 41mph before the rebuild with my home made pipe. I will definately keep everyone up to date.

Fury on the inside did his this way. A wild guess would be about a year and a half ago. He's a meticulous limey, and would have told us if it was a f*** up. I think your good to go.
I saw Furrys post on how he did his and yes he is meticulous. I think Jaguar does them from the top as well. Although I dont know if either of them filled them. My experience with JB weld over the years says it should be fine.

Good call on the fill. I don't think he did that either. Those weights don't get very hot, and that stuff is pretty tough. Sticky as hell too.

Too late now but I would have used a burr to make the bottom of the hole wider. Think it will be fine I just over think dumb s**t lol.

X10 on Furry being meticulous and he tells you when things don't work out.

Gary, can I have that chicken when you're done with it?

Good idea on the back cut.
Love to hit the pub with Furry. Toss back a couple of pints and toss some arrows.
To late bro. It's grillin as we speak. f***er had a good voice though right to the end. Sounded kinda like Johnny Mathis sing Mazzy Stars Blood on the Highway.

My ears are burning. 😏

I think Jaguar didn't actually do the radial drilling but had the idea, or I asked him if it would work and he gave me his calculated figures for depth and diameter of the drilled holes which would definitely help a great deal with the vibration compared to leaving (the old style happy time) stock (though may well not be optimal balance).
The reason I drilled radially was to avoid the need to split the case and remove the crank and reassemble it all again. This made it a very easy and quick modification, with little to go wrong. Maximum return on the work invested.
I did not fill the holes. I suppose I still could if I calculated how much larger they need to be made to achieve the same balance when filled.

I have been checking in on this thread so I'm sorry its taken me so long to say this, expected someone else would have said.. but Chris, your piston is ramped on the intake (ring positioning pins) side.
