How about this:

Eww, great find! I have reducer on reducers on old tire tubes on wood, err, like dominos. This would certainly take out a bunch of wiggly parts out of the equations. Thanks so much. I only need to choke another 0.25"s with this adapter that is great. Any recommendations, or is old rubber tubes a good placement in this gap?

id go with a 3/4 or 1in pipe (those galvanized pipes at lowes for like 85 cents)
since the inner diameter is slightly smaller than 3/4 and the outsize is closer to 1in

Sand the OD down a bit and should do the trick. Thanks for the insight man 👍

One thing I have found is the hub adapters tend to slip and the 3 spacers lay on the spokes. I roughened the joining surfaces of the metal parts and JB welded them together.

Great idea! I haven't worked on the trike recently trying to get a test knocked out first before I jump on it again. I have bought the mild steel pipe posted above. I've used JBweld in the past and totally agree that its an awesome epoxy and has been supported many times by ProjectFarm within his numerous tests. But I'm now a PL premium fan mostly because its very cost effective and I'm cheap 🤷🏽‍♂️. ProjectFarm hasn't done a head to head on these said glues. I'm wondering if you guys think that PL premium will work in the role Axl Myk mentioned above? PL has an 8x power that's even more awesome but I have 3x at the house and I'd rather use whats already around the house.

If anyone hasn't seen his great reviews/tests::

I've never installed a wheel hub adaptor, but
shouldn't the adaptor be slightly smaller than the hub,
so the adaptor can "crush into" the hub?
Yes, exactly, I use an old rubber tire tube to help the adapter have something to bite into. The wooden adapter actually is working much better than expected I was mostly worried that it would be destroyed and have me reeling to the left and into a ditch. But it certainly held up and did the job. I will upgrade to the metal pipe adapter soon and update when its done. The real Achilles heel for the system is the chain tensioner that keeps failing because it has too much play. I'll be stick welding the tensioner on to the frame as well.

I think JB weld is preferred as buying an entire tube of PL is quite a waste for the small amount you need.
