OK...Heres my problem and lack of knowledge thereof...lol.

Ive ordered mag wheels for my very ordinary standard Hyper Bike Company beach cruiser single speed 26" motorised bike.

Also ordered disk brakes etc. for this as well.

If i got it right, the right rear sprocket for the pedal side that is already on the coaster brake style wheel, already has on it a 16 tooth sprocket, correct me if im wrong about this being a normal standard.

Im searching online to replace this sprocket with a 16 tooth freewheel sprocket since the mag wheels do not come with this, as well as wanting it to be the same size to accomodate proper chain/wheel placement when i install it all on the bike...Not too much wiggle room to play with when placing the wheel assembly back onto the rear forks...They are already close to the end where it could just jump out of the fork if stressed too much.

Im totally lost as to what i need here to fit this thing correctly to the new mags when they arrive.

Im providing below what wheels ive ordered as well as to where im looking for the sprocket...The sprockets available confuse me as some look like they may be pressed in as opposed to threaded etc...I really do not know what i need to do this correctly as well as any special tool needed.

This is my first venture into changing rim types on a bicycle M/B.

HELP...lol...DAMIEN

The first is what mag rims i ordered, the second is what i think may or may not be a sprocket that will go on etc.

I'm excited for you getting mag wheels and disc brakes (y)

Looks like ya ordered everything right

Ya sure you want a 16t and not a 20t or a 22t
You say the rear wheel barley catches Might as well order a new KMC chain and a chain breaker so you can make it the correct length.

What disc brake kit did ya order?

I would order the 22t sunlite freewheel that on bikeberry page with the rims look at that page you will see it for 10.95 amazon wants like 16.95.I really like it. I’m out of shape. It’s work good for my fat ass. The other best thing it’s easy to install. It just threads on. The direction of the chain tightens it.

Have you tried taking the sprocket /freewheel off of you stock wheel? Just check thread diameter on your mag.
Damien,
Gonna need a special tool for that or take the wheel to a bicycle shop and ask em to take the freewheel sprocket off for ya.
I bet they'll do it for free.

i didnt know that the sprocket i already had would work as a freewheel for the mag since it actuates the coaster brake...again im ignorant of this, If it would work i would use it...only 700 hundred miles on it with hardly any pedaling...lol.
He has a coaster brake sprocket, the 22t freewheel is my choice.
That was my understanding that a coaster brake sprocket doesnt work as a freewheel sprocket.
Also, after checking online cant find a 22t freewheel, seems everyone, including my local bicycle shop is out of stock waiting for the slow boat from China to deliver...16t seems to be working well for me since im really only doing pedaling at startup and stop light pedal assist for very short times.

What tool do i need to buy???...My bike shop are robber barons...They want 16 dollars to do this..."ass, gas, or grass, no one rides for free" with these guys...lol...DAMIEN

You have to measure and count the notches in the sprocket, a lot of different tools. Might be cheaper to pay the ransom and have the shop take it off. You have to check the diameter of the one you have and the mag.

Damien go to your wheel link in your 1st post on this thread once looking at wheels go scroll down until you find a (frequency bought together) it’s the second item . Sunlite freewheel 22t
